Key Park Features & Amenities

With its genuine community heart, the revitalised Peace Park is a special place where locals connect. The recent upgrade introduced plenty of new seating, improved lighting, and nature play elements. Visitors should be aware that parking is very limited and you must bring your own waste bags.

For the Dogs:

  • On-Leash Only: This is a strictly on-leash park, which helps maintain its serene and tranquil vibe.
  • Dedicated Dog Water Bowl: A fantastic feature is the dedicated dog water bowl installed right next to the human drinking fountain, ensuring easy hydration.
  • New Turf: The park boasts fresh new turf that’s lovely and soft underpaw.
  • Bring Your Own Waste Bags: Visitors need to bring their own bags to clean up after their dogs and keep the park beautiful.

For the Humans:

  • New Tables & Seating: The revitalisation introduced plenty of new tables and seating, conveniently placed in both sunny and shaded spots.
  • Improved Lighting: Enhanced lighting has been installed, making the park feel safe for peaceful evening walks.
  • Limited Street Parking: As it’s a local park, street parking is very limited in the surrounding residential area.

Our Recommended Gear for Peace Park

Durable Fetch Toy

You’ll see a lot of the regulars here using a durable fetch toy like this one. It’s built to last and perfect for making the most of the huge open field at this park.

Dog GPS Tracker

The five seconds of panic when you can’t see your dog in an unfenced park are the worst. A Tractive GPS tracker provides real-time location and eliminates that fear.

LED Dog Collar

To make the most of the great lighting here, an LED collar makes your dog extra visible and adds a layer of safety after dark.
